FOOD/REGISTRATION FEE AND SEPARATE HOTEL FEE

**NOTE: HOTEL IS SEPARATE.

You do not have to book the hotel at the same time as the food/registration fee but we strongly recommend it or booking the hotel asap as there is a cap on the rooms under contract and at the rate we negotiated so we can't guarantee that rate or even a room if you try to book the hotel later. 

The accommodation rates we negotiated are heavily discounted.

Registration/Food fee includes:

Conference Registration, Materials, & Conference Room (June 7, 8, 9, 10,11) 

- Networking Time and Welcome Apéro Riche (this is drinks and a bite to eat) (Monday, June 7, from 6:30-7:30 pm). This is the first event.

- Welcome Dinner BBQ on side lawn (weather permitting) (Tuesday, June 8, at 7 pm; Networking with drinks starting at 6 pm)

- Coffee Breaks (June 8, 9, 10, 11)

- Lunch (3 days June 8, 9, 10). Note: The registration fee for guests of participants staying at Casa Berno DOES NOT include lunch

- Networking Field trip: Cable car and chair lift Cardada  www.cardada.ch with meal in Grotto Broggini, buses provided on Wednesday June 9, 7 pm

- Gala Farewell Dinner in Main Dinning Hall, Awards banquet (Thursday, June 10, at 7 pm; Networking with drinks starting at 6 pm )

- Lunch box will be provided on Friday, June  11.

Presentations and panel discussions will be on Tuesday June 8, Wednesday June 9, Thursday June 10 and part day on Friday June 11.

You will enter your information and then enter the correct amount for the registration (please see registration prices below so you type in the correct amount).

Please note that prices are in Swiss Francs.

We don’t have an invited speaker code, as we have used the generous sponsorship to reduce the cost of registration for all and sponsor students.

The registration cost does include your meals, drinks, coffee breaks, networking fieldtrip.

Step 2: Once you have successfully paid the registration fee, you will receive two emails: 

1. The first email will be sent by the Saferpay platform, confirming payment of the registration fee. (Please check your spam folder.)

2. The second email, from the CSF platform, will contain information about the booking of your bedroom at Monte Verita. This second email includes the link to the dedicated hotel booking platform. To learn more about Monte Verita, please visit : Accommodation. 

You may choose to stay at our 2nd conference hotel, 4 minutes away at Casa Berno, in which case you can ignore the email about the Monte Verita accommodation, but you will need to then book at Casa Berno by emailing them info@casaberno.ch with the information requested Accommodation.

To book at Casa Berno, please contact info@casaberno.ch and mention the reference to “HURICAN 2027” and indicate your preferred room category. They will sort out the payment with you directly.

All participants and guests must register.  The guests' registration fee for those staying at Monte Verita includes all meals (lunch and dinner) provided by the conference and fieldtrips. The registration fee for guests of participants staying at Casa Berno DOES NOT include lunch.

Cancellation Policy

• These are the cancellation dates you need to be aware of:

  • Between now and December 31st, 2026 you will receive a refund of 50% of your registration fees and 100% refund on hotel fees. There will also be an administrative fee for a cancellation or change to the reservation. This is a flat rate fee of 100 swiss francs plus 5% of the refunded amount.

  • Between January 1st, 2027 and February 28th, 2027, you will receive 25% refund on your registration fees and 50% on hotel fees.  There will also be an administrative fee for a cancellation or change to the reservation. This is a flat rate fee of 100 swiss francs plus 5% of the refunded amount.

  • After March 1st, 2027, there will be no refund to registration or hotel fees.

Conference Registration Instructions

1. This Conference has established a fixed fee for all participants. This fixed fee has been established in order to encourage overall Conference attendance. The conference registration fee and the hotel fee will be charged regardless of the length of time a participant attends the Conference.

2. The fixed registration fee covers registration, meals as specified, and opportunities for collaboration. The fixed hotel fee covers accommodations as specified. It will not provide for recreation, faxes, taxi, parking (however parking is free at Casa Berno and Monte Verita), laundry, incidentals, or any other personal expenses.

3. All activities, including meal and recreation times, are intended to promote and facilitate scientific discussion and exchange of information.
