Field Trip
There will be an included networking field trip to Cardada – Cimetta with dinner that evening at Grotto Broggini
This excursion offers a spectacular panorama over Lake Maggiore.
Cardada – Cimetta (1400 m – 1700 m) is only 30 minutes above Locarno and offers a spectacular 360° panoramic view over Lake Maggiore. The climbing is by cable car, the new one designed by the architect Mario Botta, and by chair lift (hike optional)
You can do a chair lift, hike, and/or sit in the restaurant and order ice/cream a drink or other food. Beautiful views.
The transportation to Cardada from Monte Verita, the cable car, and chair lift is included in your registration. Bring cards or cash if you want drinks/food at the mountain restaurants. You will be here a few hours to network and relax.
From here we go to dinner at Grotto Broggini. We provide transport from Monte Verita to the field trip, from the field trip to Grotto Broginni and from Grotto Broginni to Monte Verita.
Castles of Bellinzona will be our backup field trip if the weather is not good for the cable car.
We still go to the backup field trip if it's raining, so an umbrella and a raincoat are recommended. Sneakers recommended.
If you plan to use public transport or visit sites, ask hotel for a Ticino ticket. You have to ask for it. They should give you this for free and give you discounts for public transport, museums, sites etc
It covers public transport from Ascona to some other places, not any public transport to Monte Verita
