Clearwater Beach
Accommodation must be made at the conference hotel (JW Marriott Clearwater Beach) using the conference registration and hotel link on the registration page. However please note accommodation at the conference hotel is guaranteed for the first 55 registrants only. As we get close to 55 registrants, the AAG will work to secure additional room blocks. In the event they cannot be secured at the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach or a nearby hotel, we will return the hotel portion of the registration fee so that you can make individual arrangements with this or other hotels. Assume we have a room for you if you don't hear from us and we will confirm nearer the time all participants who have rooms. We recommend you register early therefore to have one of the 55 guaranteed rooms at the conference hotel.
JW Marriott Clearwater Beach
$1,250 total (based on the availability of hotel rooms at the contracted rate)
Hotel fee includes:
--4 nights stay at the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach from 4 pm May 31st and checking out 11 am June 4th. You can store your luggage at the hotel while at the conference on June 4th, or you may choose to pay for additional nights through the link. The rate is contracted to include 3 nights before and after the conference (based on availability). However, there are limited rooms available to these extra nights so book early.
PLEASE NOTE TO BE GIVEN THIS REGITSRATION FEE, YOU MUST STAY AT THE JW Marriott Clearwater Beach AND BOOK with the hotel link. Anyone who does not have a matching hotel booking will not be confirmed as registered. We must do this as an important aspect of this conference is that we are all together and also we must meet hotel minimums. Thanks for your understanding. Please book hotel at the same time as registration, that will help our conference planning and guarantee you the room at that rate. If you can't book all at once, you can come back in and book the hotel in a single transaction, We understand some people are restricted to a daily credit card limit. If you do not book at the same time, you risk not getting our designated rooms which the first 55 registrants will get, and then you may be subject to a higher rate or no availability. If the system is not allowing you to book the hotel, contact Dr. Jennifer Collins (collinsjm@usf.edu) and she will contact the hotel if they can offer the same rates.
Included in the room rate is a resort fee which you will not have to pay separately at the hotel.

Cancellation Policy
These are the cancellation dates you need to be aware of:
Between Oct. 1st, 2024 and December 31st, 2024 you will receive a refund of 50% of your registration fees and 100% refund on hotel fees. There will also be an administrative fee from the AAG for a cancellation or change to the reservation. This is a flat rate fee of $100 plus 5% of the refunded amount.
Between January 1st, 2025 and February 28th, 2025, you will receive 25% refund on your registration fees and 50% on hotel fees. There will also be an administrative fee from the AAG for a cancellation or change to the reservation. This is a flat rate fee of $100 plus 5% of the refunded amount.
After March 1st, 2025, there will be no refund to registration or hotel fees.

Optional Additional Nights and Nights for Family
Note: Based on group rate availability, room rate valid three (3) day Pre/Post conference dates. Hotel will offer a max of 5 rooms on Wednesday (28th May) & Thursday (29th May), and 10 rooms on Friday, May 30th Preconference, and up to 25 rooms Wednesday, June 4th, up to 15 rooms Thursday, June 5th and up to 10 rooms Friday, June 6th. Therefore, we encourage you to book these early through out link to guarantee your room at this rate.

Parking
The JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa offers Valet only parking to their hotel guests. Parking rates are currently Overnight Valet: $45.00, Day Valet: $35.00. Plus tax. Parking rates are subject to change. Please note that all Guests & Vendors are responsible for their own parking charges.
